Power Matters Alliance Certification Program

One of the prime objectives of the Power Matter’s Alliance is to improve a user’s experience by means of cost effective and interoperable wireless power components, systems and services. This is achieved through open participation and standardization.

The PMA is deploying a world class conformance and certification infrastructure in full cooperation with its members and the global wireless power community. The full program will be in place by the first quarter of 2014.

PMA Certified products will demonstrate the benefits of industry standard convergence through multi-vendor product interoperability in a cost effective way. All certified products go through the certification program to minimize investment uncertainties for all entities in the value chain from technology providers to end users.

Vendors that qualify for and achieve PMA Certification provide their customers a level of assurance of interoperability which gives service providers (like Starbucks) and end users (like you) the confidence and flexibility they desire. The PMA approach enables a way to seamlessly providing and use wireless power technology wherever the infrastructure is deployed.

PMA approved certification labs can accept products from accessory equipment vendors to furniture and automotive manufacturers for wireless power source and target devices. All PMA approved certification labs accredited for PMA testing and adhere to a stringent quality process defined by ISO/IEC 17025. The following labs are PMA Accredited Vendors for certification services:
